Polman, M.M., drawing on decades of experience across public administration and strategic industries. His career in the Ministry of Finance and later the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises provided deep institutional insight into Indonesia’s economic and regulatory landscape. Throughout his leadership roles in state-owned enterprises and strategic industrial companies, he developed a strong understanding of governance, investment structuring, and sector development. Our Team Polman Founding Partner Polman has spent more than three decades building a distinguished career across public service and strategic business leadership in Indonesia’s key sectors. He began his professional journey at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and later continued at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, where he gained deep institutional insight into national economic policy, governance, and sector development. Over the years, he has held various commissioner and board-level positions within state-owned and industrial enterprises, strengthening governance frameworks and advancing strategic initiatives. His leadership further expanded into the mining and industrial sector, serving as Director of Business Development and later as President Director of PT Nasional Hijau Lestari, a subsidiary of MIND ID. His extensive background in infrastructure, logistics, and strategic industries reflects his ability to drive growth and innovation across diverse business environments. He currently serves as President Director of PT Tambang Mineral Papua, a regional government-owned enterprise in Papua focused on the strategic utilization of tailings from gold mining operations to support sustainable industrial development. Drawing on this breadth of experience, he founded Polman & Partners Consulting Group (PCG) to bridge institutional understanding with practical business execution, providing strategic advisory services across Indonesia’s evolving sectors. Renhard Immanuel Managing Partner Renhard is a seasoned executive with cross-sector experience spanning financial services, energy, trading, and logistics. He began his career as a Relationship Manager for Citigold at Citibank from 2014 to 2017, where he developed expertise in client advisory and financial portfolio management. In 2017, he transitioned into the energy sector, serving as Assistant Vice President of Commerce at Karadeniz Energy Group. In this role, he contributed to strategic planning and business development initiatives within complex energy markets. Concurrently, he held the position of Vice President of Commerce at Lawu Energy Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Liannex Corporation, a Singapore-based trading and logistics company. His professional credentials include licenses and certifications such as Wakil Manajer Investasi, AAJI from the Indonesian Life Insurance Association, and WAPERD from the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia. These qualifications reflect his strong foundation in capital markets and financial advisory. Our Team of Experts: Bayu Firdaus Expert in Energy & Engineering Contact Bayu Firdaus, A.Md., ST., MMSI, is an experienced professional in Indonesia’s oil and gas sector with more than a decade of hands-on involvement in planning, engineering, and operational execution. He currently serves as a Technical Expert Committee Member at BPH Migas, contributing technical insight within Indonesia’s downstream regulatory framework and supporting the development of industry standards and oversight mechanisms. His professional experience includes senior roles at PT PGAS Solution, where he worked from 2010 to 2018, and a managerial position at PT Nasional Hijau Lestari from 2018 to 2022. In these roles, he contributed to engineering operations, project planning, and business development initiatives, particularly within infrastructure and energy-related environments. His competencies cover occupational safety, environmental management, and construction supervision, supported by certifications from the National Certification Body. Bayu holds a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management, a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, and an Associate degree in Construction Management. Aditya Harsa Widyatama Expert in Commercial & Supply Chain Strategy Contact Aditya is a seasoned Sales and Marketing executive and Supply Chain professional with extensive international experience across FMCG, automotive, mining, transportation, and education sectors. His career reflects a consistent focus on operational excellence, commercial strategy, and cross-border business development. He holds a Master of International Business and a Graduate Certificate in International Business from Deakin University, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Manufacturing Technology from Monash University and an Associate Diploma of Engineering in Manufacturing from Swinburne University. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership and operational roles across Australia and Southeast Asia, including Managing Director of PT Hasitama Mandiri Indonesia and regional positions with Caterpillar in Jakarta and Singapore. Aditya brings to PCG a structured, data-driven approach to sales strategy, operational optimization, and supply chain integration. S P Tulus Sihombing Expert in Geology and Resource Exploration Contact S.P. Tulus Sihombing is a seasoned geological engineer with more than 25 years of professional experience in mineral and energy exploration across Indonesia. A graduate of the Institute of Technology Bandung with a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering, he has led and executed exploration programs for gold, coal, and base metal projects nationwide. His expertise spans field mapping, core logging, geochemical analysis, prospect generation, and resource development, supported by advanced project management capabilities. He has held senior roles with leading mining companies, including PT Indo Muro Kencana and PT Kasongan Bumi Kencana, where he served as Exploration Manager overseeing resource expansion, drilling programs, and strategic project planning in Central Kalimantan. Earlier in his career, he held senior exploration geologist positions at PT RPM Exploration Consulting and PT Dairi Prima Mineral, supervising large-scale drilling operations, delineating mineral resources, and contributing to feasibility studies. His experience also includes major coal and gold projects across Sumatra, Kalimantan, Aceh, and Papua, including work with PT Antam Resourcindo and Austindo Mining Corporation. Tulus is highly skilled in geological data analysis, GIS and remote sensing applications, and the preparation of comprehensive technical reports. Halmar Sihombing Expert in Mining Planning & Operations Contact Halmar Sihombing is a mining professional with more than three decades of experience across coal, iron ore, and gold operations, supported by early expertise in oil and gas exploration. He graduated in Mining Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, where his thesis focused on seismic interpretation and hydrocarbon reserve analysis in South Sumatra. He later obtained certification as Kepala Teknik Tambang (KTT), qualifying him to lead technical and safety operations at the highest operational level. He began his career at Kaltim Prima Coal, managing large-scale overburden removal, coal extraction, and haul road development to port facilities. He subsequently held senior engineering and supervisory roles across multiple mining companies, overseeing underground and open-pit operations, crusher and port facility commissioning, mine design, and logistics coordination. From 1998 to 2005, he served as Project Coordinator for coal crusher and port infrastructure development, integrating major mechanical and control systems. He has completed extensive professional training in mine planning, blasting, hydrology, safety management, and environmental compliance, and has served as a keynote speaker and guest lecturer at leading Indonesian universities and mining forums. With more than 28 years of experience, he brings a rare combination of technical mining expertise, strategic leadership, and regulatory engagement. He began his career in granite mining before joining PT Freeport Indonesia, where he progressed from mine planning and ore control at the Grasberg mine in Papua to roles in government relations and copper concentrate marketing in Jakarta. At Freeport-McMoRan’s corporate headquarters in Phoenix, Arizona, he worked within the Strategic Planning and Ore Reserve team, overseeing global mine planning, cost analysis, and reserve reporting across operations in the United States, Chile, Peru, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Reygina Mitrania Regulatory & International Advisory Contact Reygina Mitrania is a licensed advocate admitted to the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) since 2021, with academic and professional experience in international law, regulatory governance, and institutional accountability. She graduated with honors from her Bachelor of Laws program before completing a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Melbourne. During her postgraduate studies, she focused on international legal frameworks, AI governance, trade law, and economic regulation, examining how legal systems adapt to technological and institutional change. She currently works as a Legal Fellow at Blueprint for Free Speech in Melbourne, contributing to legal and policy research on whistleblower protection, regulatory reform, and the intersection of artificial intelligence and law. He currently serves as Head Office Metallurgy Manager within the Mineral Division of the Gajah Tunggal Group, overseeing metallurgical strategy across multiple gold mining operations, including Kasongan Bumi Kencana and Indo Muro Kencana. His responsibilities include plant performance optimization, production planning, metallurgical accounting, and technical advisory to senior leadership. His experience spans crushing and grinding circuits, leaching and CIL/CIP systems, elution, Merrill-Crowe processes, electrowinning, and tailings management. He has led plant refurbishments, commissioning programs, and recovery optimization initiatives, consistently improving gold and silver recoveries while strengthening cost efficiency and operational discipline. Earlier in his career, he held engineering and project roles within mining, EPC, and blasting service companies, building a comprehensive understanding of mineral processing operations from design through execution. At PCG, he provides technical advisory on process plant optimization, metallurgical evaluation, feasibility assessment, and operational performance improvement across gold and mineral projects.
