Polman

Founding Partner

Polman has spent more than three decades building a distinguished career across public service and strategic business leadership in Indonesia’s key sectors.

​

He began his professional journey at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and later continued at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, where he gained deep institutional insight into national economic policy, governance, and sector development. Over the years, he has held various commissioner and board-level positions within state-owned and industrial enterprises, strengthening governance frameworks and advancing strategic initiatives.

​

Among these, he served for six years as Commissioner at PT Indra Karya (Persero), a state-owned enterprise specializing in Engineering, Development, and Industry, where he contributed to the company's oversight and strategic direction. 

​

His leadership further expanded into the mining and industrial sector, serving as Director of Business Development and later as President Director of PT Nasional Hijau Lestari, a subsidiary of MIND ID. His extensive background in infrastructure, logistics, and strategic industries reflects his ability to drive growth and innovation across diverse business environments.

​

He is widely recognized for his strong network across government institutions, state-owned enterprises, and private sector leaders, enabling him to align stakeholders and facilitate strategic collaborations across industries.

​

Drawing on this breadth of experience, he founded Polman & Partners Consulting Group (PCG) to connect institutional insight with practical business strategy, delivering strategic advisory services across Indonesia’s evolving sectors.

Renhard Immanuel

Managing Partner

Renhard is a seasoned executive with cross-sector experience spanning financial services, energy, trading, and logistics. He began his career as a Relationship Manager for Citigold at Citibank for years, where he developed expertise in client advisory and financial portfolio management.

​

Afterwards, he transitioned into the energy sector, serving as Assistant Vice President of Commerce at Karadeniz Energy Group. In this role, he contributed to strategic planning and business development initiatives within complex energy markets. Concurrently, he held the position of Vice President of Commerce at Lawu Energy Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Liannex Corporation.

​

His professional credentials include certifications such as Wakil Manajer Investasi, AAJI from the Indonesian Life Insurance Association, and WAPERD from the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia, reflecting a strong foundation in capital markets and financial advisory.

In addition to his corporate experience, he has managed a successful food and beverage enterprise since 2017, demonstrating practical entrepreneurial capability alongside institutional leadership.

S P Tulus Sihombing

Expert in Energy & Engineering

S.P. Tulus Sihombing is a seasoned geological engineer with more than 25 years of professional experience in mineral and energy exploration across Indonesia. A graduate of the Institute of Technology Bandung with a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering, he has led and executed exploration programs for gold, coal, and base metal projects nationwide.

​

His expertise spans field mapping, core logging, geochemical analysis, prospect generation, and resource development, supported by advanced project management capabilities. He has held senior roles with leading mining companies, including PT Indo Muro Kencana and PT Kasongan Bumi Kencana, where he served as Exploration Manager overseeing resource expansion, drilling programs, and strategic project planning in Central Kalimantan.

​

Earlier in his career, he held senior exploration geologist positions at PT RPM Exploration Consulting and PT Dairi Prima Mineral, supervising large-scale drilling operations, delineating mineral resources, and contributing to feasibility studies. His experience also includes major coal and gold projects across Sumatra, Kalimantan, Aceh, and Papua, including work with PT Antam Resourcindo and Austindo Mining Corporation.

​

Tulus is highly skilled in geological data analysis, GIS and remote sensing applications, and the preparation of comprehensive technical reports. His career reflects both technical depth and leadership, strengthened by specialized training in structural geology, soil geochemistry, and safety, as well as active membership in the Indonesian Geologists Association (IAGI).

​

At PCG, he provides technical advisory across mining and mineral exploration matters. He supports clients at various stages of project development, from early-stage assessment to resource definition and development strategy.

A. Rifky Zarkoni

Expert in Corporate Finance & Transaction Advisory

Rifky is a senior corporate finance and investment banking professional with over two decades of experience across Indonesia’s capital markets, infrastructure, and energy sectors.

​

He most recently served as Vice President at BNI Sekuritas until April 2023, where he led Strategic Advisory Services for state-owned enterprises within the Investment Banking division. He advised SOEs on financial restructuring, credit rating strategy, fundraising structures, asset-backed securities, and complex capital market transactions across sectors including energy, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, cement, mining, and petrochemicals. His clients included PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN), PT Kimia Farma Tbk, PT Bio Farma, PT Bukit Asam Tbk, and PT Semen Indonesia Group Tbk.

 

Previously, Rifky was Director of Corporate Finance at KCT Group, where he led fundraising, M&A, and IPO planning for a maritime and shipbuilding operator serving multinational oil and gas clients including Total, BP Tangguh, and Chevron. He also provided advisory services to SOEs including PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI) and PT Brantas Abipraya.

Earlier, he held director-level positions within the business group of Hapsoro Sukmonodihadi (RAJA Group / HEPI Group), including PT Rukun Raharja Tbk and PT Capital Turbines Indonesia, leading M&A, fundraising, and energy infrastructure initiatives.

He began his investment banking career at Capital Managers Asia (Bakrie Group), where he was involved in major transactions including the Kanci–Pejagan toll road project within the Trans Java Toll Road network, overseeing concession structuring, financing of approximately IDR 1.4 trillion, and project execution. He also contributed to IPOs, bond issuances, and media acquisitions.

Rifky started his career at PT PEFINDO as a Senior Analyst covering corporate credit ratings across multiple industries.

Rifky is recognized for his ability to navigate complex financial structures, drive strategic transactions, and deliver results across high-stakes, multi-sector engagements.

Bagya Mulyanto

Bagya Mulyanto is a highly respected business leader and strategic advisor with more than three decades of experience at the highest levels of Indonesia's state-owned enterprise (BUMN) sector. Throughout his career, he has played a key role in shaping corporate strategy, strengthening governance frameworks, and leading large-scale organizations across some of Indonesia's most important industries.

His distinguished public service career includes serving as Assistant Deputy (ASDEP) for Mining, Strategic Industry, and Media at the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMNs), where he oversaw planning, performance monitoring, investment strategy, corporate governance, and risk management across major national enterprises. In this capacity, he contributed to the development and oversight of strategic sectors critical to Indonesia's economic growth and national development.

He subsequently held a number of senior executive positions, including President Director of PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII, one of Indonesia's leading plantation companies. He also served at Perum BULOG, Indonesia's national food logistics agency, first as Director of Human Resources and General Affairs and later as Director of Finance, where he was responsible for managing complex organizational and financial operations within one of the country's most important public institutions.

Benny S. Anwar

Halmar Sihombing

Expert in Mining Planning & Operations

Halmar Sihombing is a mining professional with more than three decades of experience across coal, iron ore, and gold operations, supported by early expertise in oil and gas exploration. He graduated in Mining Engineering from Institut Teknologi Bandung, where his thesis focused on seismic interpretation and hydrocarbon reserve analysis in South Sumatra. He later obtained certification as Kepala Teknik Tambang (KTT), qualifying him to lead technical and safety operations at the highest operational level.

​

He began his career at Kaltim Prima Coal, managing large-scale overburden removal, coal extraction, and haul road development to port facilities. He subsequently held senior engineering and supervisory roles across multiple mining companies, overseeing underground and open-pit operations, crusher and port facility commissioning, mine design, and logistics coordination.

Nova Negara Silaban

Nova Negara Silaban is an executive with more than three decades of experience in international shipping and logistics across Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Andi Erwin Syarif

Expert in ESG, Risk Management & Environmental Compliance for Mining and Energy Projects

With over 25 years of experience across Indonesia's mining, energy, manufacturing, and construction sectors, Andi brings deep, hands-on expertise in Environmental Social Governance (ESG), Enterprise Risk Management, and sustainable resource development. He holds a Doctorate in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Ehime University (Japan), a Master's in Management and Industrial Engineering from ITB, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Hasanuddin University.

 

His career spans leadership roles with major industry players including PT Vale Indonesia, PT International Nickel Indonesia, PT Freeport Indonesia, and Sumitomo Metal Mining, as well as advisory engagements with the World Bank, Morningstar Japan, and Indonesia's Directorate General of Mineral and Coal. His work has covered ESG risk rating frameworks, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA), land acquisition and resettlement planning (LARAP), post-mining redevelopment, and Just Energy Transition initiatives — often aligned with IFC and World Bank standards.

Currently serving as Research Advisor and Independent Consultant, he most recently led risk management activities for a biomass and green energy transition project with PT Vale Indonesia. He is a Certified Risk Management Professional, Project Management Professional, and holds certifications in ISO 31000 Risk Management, ESIA, and GRI sustainability reporting, among others.

Beyond his consulting work, he serves on the Expert Council (Dewan Pakar) of the Association of Indonesia Mining Professionals (PERHAPI) and has held leadership positions with the Institution of Engineers, Indonesia (PII). Regulatory & International Advisory

Reygina is a licensed advocate admitted to the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI) since 2021, with an academic focus on international law, particularly international trade and human rights law.

 

She graduated with honours from her Bachelor of Laws before completing a Master of Laws (LLM) at the University of Melbourne.

​

During her postgraduate studies, she developed particular strength in international law and global governance. Her academic work engages with contemporary legal challenges, including the development of frameworks for sustainable futures, the regulation of rapidly evolving AI systems, and the persistence of unconscious bias in shaping gendered economic roles. She has also examined domestic trade policies and international obligations, including analysis of the WTO dispute settlement system.

​

During her postgraduate studies, she served as a paralegal at Refugee Legal, Australia’s largest provider of free specialist legal assistance to people seeking asylum, refugees, and disadvantaged migrants. In this role, she assisted with case preparation, conducted legal research, and liaised directly with clients to verify critical information, often working through interpreters to ensure accuracy in cross-cultural communication.

​

Currently, she works as a Legal Fellow at Blueprint for Free Speech in Melbourne, contributing to legal and policy research on whistleblower protection, regulatory reform, and the intersection of artificial intelligence and law. Her work includes legislative analysis, comparative research, and the evaluation of emerging governance challenges.

​

Her earlier professional experience includes work at Indonesian law firms, where she was involved in both corporate practice and litigation, including private and criminal law matters.

 

At PCG, Reygina provides regulatory and cross-border advisory support, assisting clients in navigating complex legal and institutional frameworks. Sabar Oktorio Pakpahan

Sabar Oktorio Pakpahan is a metallurgical engineer with more than 20 years of experience in gold processing and extractive metallurgy. A graduate of Institut Teknologi Bandung, he has built his career across leading mining and mineral processing operations in Indonesia and internationally.

He currently serves as Head Office Metallurgy Manager within the Mineral Division of the Gajah Tunggal Group, overseeing metallurgical strategy across multiple gold mining operations, including Kasongan Bumi Kencana and Indo Muro Kencana. His responsibilities include plant performance optimization, production planning, metallurgical accounting, and technical advisory to senior leadership.

His experience spans crushing and grinding circuits, leaching and CIL/CIP systems, elution, Merrill-Crowe processes, electrowinning, and tailings management. He has led plant refurbishments, commissioning programs, and recovery optimization initiatives, consistently improving gold and silver recoveries while strengthening cost efficiency and operational discipline.

Earlier in his career, he held engineering and project roles within mining, EPC, and blasting service companies, building a comprehensive understanding of mineral processing operations from design through execution.

At PCG, Sabar provides technical advisory on process plant optimization, metallurgical evaluation, and feasibility assessment for gold and mineral projects. He supports clients in improving operational performance through data-driven analysis and practical engineering insight.
